Olympia Pizza and Spaghetti House III established by Spiro Aliagas opened its doors to the Capitol Hill neighborhood in September 1989. An offshoot of his Queen Anne pizzeria, Spiro brought employees Harry Nicoloudakis and Lucy Kruse with him.

Harry soon became owner, worked his own kitchen cooking abundant portions of delicious food. Lucy presented this hearty fare with a side of small-town Montana friendliness and a warm smile. This duo worked tirelessly serving their loyal patrons for over 25 years.

The staff is clearly family to one another and the many regular guests are an extension of this. Olympia III has a cozy personal family atmosphere. Traces of Spiros humble beginnings in Greece adorn the walls alongside art created by Harry’s children.

You will still find Harry and Lucy doing various tasks, ever vigilant to the needs of all and enjoying in the creation of great memories with amazing people in the perfect place.

In January 2010, after much hard work restoring an intricately carved back bar from the historical J&M Café in Pioneer Square; Olympia Pizza III companioned with Harry's Bar. Angels carved from mahogany in the late 1800’s gaze silently over an extensive array of spirits, busy staff and festive guests.

The additional space with its elegant back bar is beautiful yet inviting and unpretentious. Adding to the delicious abundant entrees is a wide array of beer, wine, exotic and familiar cocktails.

Food travels via helpful, friendly servers from Olympia’s kitchen into Harry’s Bar and cocktails from the bar into Olympia; keeping every age group well fed, hydrated and happy.

"This old-school place has thick-crust Greek pizza and gigantic pasta dishes... "The Bar," a spacious, dark, and comfortable drinking zone with lots of cushy booths and a gorgeous carved antique bar."
